抄録

A 72-year-old man undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) due to chronic glomerular nephritis for a year had the chief complaint of fever and the right hypochondriac pain. He was diagnosed with suppurative cholangitis caused by choledocholitiasis and endoscopic choledocholithotomy was performed urgendy. After he recovered from cholangitis, a laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC) with abdominal wall lifting method was undertaken. The bile leakage occurred because the gallbladder wall was injured in the surgery, but any event of infection did not appear after the surgery. He restarted CAPD on postoperative day 15 and adverse events have not been seen during the CAPD until now. LC for the CAPD patients is rare. We report the safety of LC with abdominal wall lifting method for patients undergoing CAPD and discuss about the merit of abdominal wall lifting method.
