Abstract

This study investigated the relationship between stock prices and companies' financial statements with the aim of providing insights into the usefulness of such an analysis for company managers. Using publicly traded company data and financial statements, we analyzed the correlations between key financial metrics and stock prices and explored the potential benefits and limitations of using financial statement analysis for corporate activity decision-making. The analysis used the SHAP value, which made it possible to find relationships that could not be found using conventional regression analysis.
