Abstract

To elucidate the role of PGE₂ on radicular cyst expansion, we examined the effect of PGE₂ on IL-6, HGF and PGE₂ secretion by radicular cyst-derived fibroblast-like cells (RC cells). PGE₂ stimulated all the examined factors, secretion. These results suggested that PGE₂ plays a central role in radicular cyst expansion.
