Abstract

We firstly detected angiogenin, FGF-9 and MIP-1β whose expression levels were strongly correlated with the degree of joint effusion, which may reflect the status of TMJ inflammation. Angiogenin, FGF-9 and MIP-1β may be novel markers for the diagnosis of TMJ disorders.
