Abstract
While Internet of Things has high affinity with houses and ability of customization, the customization process is complicated and hard for people not familiar with programming. Previous research reports that senior adults can independently come up with ideas by using cards. Three types of user interface were developed for experimental purpose to explore suitable user interface for senior adults; Voice recognition, touch interface, and image recognition. As a result, this study revealed that voice recognition was the most suitable. Furthermore, the results indicated that iterative interaction with Internet of Things may suggest image recognition with higher acceptance.
